From Floating Man to Liberpulco: Celebrating Freedom
Apatin, Serbia, August 16, 2024 — Liberland celebrated yet another successful installment of Floating Man, its annual summer festival. Inspired by Burning Man desert festival, Floating Man takes place primarily on the Danube River, in and around the new nation of Liberland. Liberland’s Ark Village, located in nearby Apatin, Serbia, serves as the base to bring together Liberland citizens and locals together for several days of fun, food and freedom. The peak of the season is coming in 2 weeks — Liberpulco.
And from September 5 to 7, Ark Village will serve as the site of Liberpulco! Working together with the Anarchapulco team, we are bringing the famous freedom gathering that happens every February in Acapulco to Europe. It’s the perfect chance to meet like-minded free thinkers and get a taste of the liberty we’re building in the Balkans.
Are you able to come earlier? There are two pre-events. The first one is called Uncle Sava, taking place on August 31st, celebrating local cuisine with traditional stews. The second one is Liberforko, from September 2nd to 5th. You can find the full program and tickets online at liberpulco.com.
